The Legendary Zorro Could Become a LEGO® Set, Vote Now!

Fan Designer CARLIERTI, already a proud member of the 10K Club, has returned with another bold creation, this time inspired by the legendary masked hero Zorro. The project is currently gathering support, sitting at 273 votes, and is looking to reach the magic 10,000 to become an official LEGO® set.

The Man Behind the Mask

Before Batman, there was Zorro. Created by writer Johnston McCulley in 1919, Zorro, Spanish for “fox”, first appeared as a mysterious vigilante defending the people of early California. He fought corrupt officials and ruthless bandits with wit and charm. Always cloaked in black, he’d appear from the shadows, outsmart his foes, and leave his signature “Z” slashed with three quick strokes. Over the decades, Zorro has become an icon of justice, inspiring novels, television series, and blockbuster films.

A Hero in Bricks

CARLIERTI’s LEGO® version captures Zorro at his most cinematic. The build features the hero mounted on his loyal horse, Tornado, in an action-packed pose that practically leaps off the display base. Every detail, from Zorro’s flowing cape to the gleam of his fencing blade, evokes the drama and spirit of the original character.

Composed of around 1,200 pieces, this design combines elegant simplicity with strong character storytelling. The sculpted horse alone demonstrates excellent use of LEGO® building techniques, balancing motion and stability with a gallant sense of flair.
