LEGO has unveiled an exclusive new set, the 43222 Disney Castle, and accompanying it is an equally exciting Gift With Purchase (GWP) to mark the occasion. The announcement follows just a week after the grand reveal of the Disney Castle. LEGO fans spending $100 or more on any LEGO Disney set, including the $400 Disney Castle, will receive the unique GWP: 40600 Disney 100 Years Celebration.
This limited-time offer will be available from July 1st to 9th, 2023.
The 226-piece GWP set features an exclusive Minifigure – Mickey Mouse in a smoking dress. It's divided into three distinctive sections. The central part is an homage to Minnie Mouse, designed as a gate shaped like Minnie's head with prominent ears, a red box, an old-fashioned cinema floodlight, and a miniature chair with popcorn, all set up for Mickey to enjoy a movie.
To the left, collectors will find a LEGO-built "100" sign, complemented with two balloons and a celebratory cake. Each of the three sections is constructed on orange LEGO pieces, with hints of red decorating the sides.
The rightmost section includes a brick-built desk featuring a vintage sketch of Mickey Mouse and a smattering of office essentials such as a cup and a lamp.
This GWP offers an unusual treat for LEGO enthusiasts, complete with a light brick and an option to incorporate personal photos into the display. It's a fantastic way to celebrate a century of Disney magic.
