Cogs, steam, and a robot who loves a good sit-down in the park. The Steampunk Train Station has chuffed its way to the full 10,000 supporters on LEGO® Ideas, and it is now steaming into the official review stage. Built by SRG-FUTURE, an artist who has spent more than seven years dreaming up a brass-and-gears world, this one arrives packed with gadgets, gears, and personality. Who knew a train station could have this much character?

The build began life as a single steampunk car. From that one vehicle, it grew into a whole scene: a steam locomotive, a busy street, and a park bursting with mechanical inventions. That is the kind of creative snowball every builder knows, where you sit down to make one small thing and suddenly you have designed an entire universe.

Populating this world is a cast of custom minifigures led by Dr. Samuel, an inventor and adventurer straight out of SRG-FUTURE's imagination (and yes, the designer has also brought him to life as a real costume). At his side is Steambot, a loyal robot assistant who keeps the machinery humming and, when the day is done, likes to relax among the park's gizmos. Every corner here is designed to tell a story, which is exactly what makes a LEGO® scene worth staring at for hours.

Reaching 10,000 supporters is the finish line for the support phase, so the LEGO® Ideas team will now decide whether Dr. Samuel and his tinkering companion earn a spot on shelves. With 286 comments and a community full of steampunk fans, train enthusiasts, and builders cheering it on, this brass-plated station has already proven it can pull a crowd.
