Grab a ticket and take a seat, because the most morbidly funny scene from Tim Burton's Beetlejuice just landed on LEGO® Ideas. Builder Brick Dangerous recreated the film's iconic afterlife waiting room in 727 pieces, and yes, the ghost with the mostest is holding a very long number for his very long shift. The scene packs the whole eerie cast into one bench-lined lobby. There's the tribe's magician clutching ticket number four, the shrunken-head hunter, the woman whose torso has parted ways with her legs, and the office worker formerly known as Miss Argentina. Freshly deceased couple Adam and Barbara Maitland round out the crowd, looking suitably bewildered by the whole ordeal.

What sells the build is how Brick Dangerous captured that funereal-yet-goofy tone Beetlejuice does so well. Sight gags built from plastic bricks are a genuinely tricky thing to pull off, and here every waiting-room oddball reads instantly. Line these characters up and you can practically hear the queue number ticking upward (and upward, and upward).
