So the drama? Totally handled. A brick-built statue of Kim Possible, the globe-trotting teen hero of the Disney cartoon, just reached the full 10,000 supporters on LEGO® Ideas. Built by teljesnegyzet, it swaps the mission-mode spycraft for a display-ready sculpture that would look right at home on any shelf.
The build stands over 21 inches (53 cm) tall and spans 8 inches (21 cm) wide and deep, all from 1,165 pieces. That is no small feat when you are coaxing a smooth, curving pose out of rectangular bricks (how do you even round a shoulder in plastic?). Kim strikes her signature stance in that unmistakable crop-top-and-cargo-pants look, every slope and angle carefully placed to capture motion in a still statue.
She does not go it alone, either. Perched alongside her is Rufus, the naked mole-rat who belongs to Ron Stoppable, rendered in his own pink brick-built glory. If you grew up quoting "what's the sitch?" at the TV, this little detail will land hard. It is the kind of companion piece that makes a display feel complete rather than just impressive.
The designer has walked this path before. teljesnegyzet built Kim Possible after an earlier set of brick-built Disney statues drew a wave of positive feedback. The bet here is simple: the show wrapped back in 2007, yet the fans never logged off, and a buildable statue gives them something to cheer for all over again.
With 10,000 supporters locked in, the project now heads into the official LEGO® Ideas review, where the team decides whether Kim swings into retail. Ready to see her graduate from fan favourite to boxed set? Call her, beep her, and keep your eyes on the review phase.
