Good news, everyone! Futurama is blasting off to LEGO® Ideas, and this love letter to the 31st century hides more Easter eggs than a robot’s storage compartment. MagicBrick and Fabrick_89 teamed up on a brilliant 2,802-piece tribute that captures everything from Bender’s shiny metal posterior, to the Planet Express meeting room.

The star of the show is a giant rotating replica of Bender’s head looming over a microscale New New York skyline stuffed with flying cars and chrome towers. Here is where things get clever. The base of Bender’s head conceals a hidden Planet Express meeting room (reached through a secret door, naturally), and popping off the back of his skull reveals the ship’s detailed interior. Your minifigures can hang out inside Bender’s brain cavity, which is about as cosy as a bending unit ever gets. How is that for existential comedy?

The build ships with five minifigures for the core Planet Express crew: Fry, Leela, Bender, Zoidberg, and Lord Nibbler with his pint-sized companion. The smaller Planet Express building flips open with a retractable roof for easy access, while the Museum of Heads holds court in the city center. Every angle turns up another sight gag, from microscale ships clamped to Bender’s head to sneaky nods only true fans will catch.

This whole thing began as casual chatter between two longtime LEGO® enthusiasts and Futurama die-hards in the Ideas community, then snowballed into something special. MagicBrick and Fabrick_89 spent weeks rewatching episodes, hunting iconic details, and designing custom prints for their awesome homage. The payoff is a collector’s dream and a playable model that drags Matt Groening’s 31st century into brick form.

With just over 1,200 supporters so far, this Futurama project needs your vote to reach the 10,000 needed for LEGO® review. Picture Fry slamming down his wallet and yelling “shut up and take my money,” then point that same energy at the support button. Who wouldn’t want to build their own slice of the 31st century, blackjack and all?
