Whether you’re a veteran of LEGO® Fortnite Odyssey or a fan of LEGO® Fortnite Brick Life, this new mode offers a fresh, action-packed way to play. Here’s everything you need to know before diving in.

What Is LEGO® Fortnite Expeditions?

LEGO® Fortnite Expeditions is a cooperative PvE experience where you and up to three friends suit up as heroes, take on high-stakes missions, and battle waves of enemies. Think of it as Fortnite’s answer to a superhero training simulator, but with LEGO® charm and plenty of explosions.

The Supernova Academy: Your Hero HQ

When you load into the mode, you’ll start at the Supernova Academy, a hub where you can:

  • Explore the campus and chat with faculty.
  • Choose your Hero Class (more on that below).
  • Pick missions from the Mission Terminal or jump into quickplay for instant action.

Hero Classes: Pick Your Power

You’ll have three Hero Classes to choose from, each with unique abilities:

  • Shadow Caller: Stealth and dark powers for players who love to strike from the shadows.
  • The Hunter: Precision and agility, perfect for those who prefer speed and accuracy.
  • Rift Ripper: Reality-bending chaos, ideal for players who want to warp the battlefield.

Each class earns Hero XP as you play, letting you upgrade abilities and become even more powerful.

Missions: Where the Action Happens

At launch, Expeditions sends you to three distinct locations:

  • Utopia City: A bustling metropolis under siege.
  • Spire Excavation Site: Ancient ruins with hidden dangers.
  • Busted Bridge: A crumbling battleground where strategy is key.

Two more locations—Demon’s Domain and a Supernova Academy expansion—will unlock later through Community Projects. These are global milestones that all players contribute to by completing missions, and they’ll also grant buffs for everyone.

How Missions Work

  • Defeat enemy waves and complete objectives to earn rewards.
  • Collect Essence to upgrade weapons like Dual Daggers, War Hammers, and Plasma Pistols.
  • Progress through missions to unlock new challenges and gear.

How to Jump Into the Action

Finding LEGO® Fortnite Expeditions is easy:

  1. Open Fortnite and head to the Discover Tab.
  2. Search for LEGO® Fortnite Expeditions or scroll through the LEGO® experiences.
  3. Alternatively, hop on the Battle Bus from LEGO® Fortnite Odyssey or LEGO® Fortnite Brick Life.

The mode is permanent, so you can play it anytime after June 18, 2025. Expect regular updates and new content alongside Fortnite Battle Royale and other LEGO® Fortnite modes.
