A wooden crate stamped "KENYA WILDLIFE PRESERVE AFRICA," an arrow pointing the wrong way, and one very recognizable striped passenger inside. If that scene rings a bell, you already know exactly which movie we are talking about. Builder Jacker76 has recreated the shipping moment from Madagascar with "Shipped to Africa" Marty the Zebra, and it is every bit as charming as you would hope.

The project splits into two halves that together total 1,438 pieces. The crate uses 490 of them and measures 15 by 32 by 26 cm, complete with hay tucked inside and holes punched into the top so light filters through (just like the film!). Marty himself is the star, built from 948 pieces and standing 40 by 27 by 34 cm. That is a lot of stripes to snap together, and the payoff is worth every single one.

Here is the part that made us grin: Marty poses. You can angle his head, open his mouth, tilt his ears, bend his neck, adjust his legs, and swish his tail. Want him lounging inside the crate or trotting out to freedom? Both work. The back panel with the stickers even flips to face inward or outward, so you decide how the scene reads. Ever wondered what it would look like to build a character that actually moves with your imagination?

Jacker76 built the model in Studio software, then hand-added four custom stickers inspired by the movie: the word "up," the word "zebra," the arrow, and the shipping address. The reason behind the build is refreshingly simple. This is a builder who loves the Madagascar films and wanted to bring one of their most iconic beats to life in bricks.

Right now "Shipped to Africa" Marty the Zebra has 2,272 supporters on its journey toward the 10,000 goal. If a poseable zebra and a light-filtering crate sound like your kind of build, why not add your vote and help ship Marty a little closer to the wild?
