Zoinks! A spooky forest, a crackling campfire, and a very nervous Great Dane have just earned their shot at becoming a real set. Scooby-Doo! Campfire Mysteries reached the full 10,000 supporters on LEGO® Ideas and now sits in the official review phase. Designer Tobnacs_Bricks packed this 2,192-piece diorama with mystery, marshmallows, and more Easter eggs than a haunted castle basement.
The scene drops the whole Mystery Inc. gang deep in the woods for the night, with the Mystery Machine parked beside a glowing campfire (Scooby and Shaggy are roasting everything they can find, naturally). Measuring 51 cm long and 29 cm tall, it earns its shelf space with lush vegetation, mushrooms, ladybugs, frogs, and reeds cleverly built from katana pieces. Have you ever looked at a plastic sword and thought "lakeside plant"? That is the kind of lateral thinking that makes builders grin.
The clever techniques keep coming. Each gang member gets a sleeping bag in their signature color, Scooby has his own bed beside Shaggy's, and a removable section of the base hides shiny gold underneath, which might just be the reason something is scaring people off. Nessie herself lurks by the water, borrowing head details from LEGO® Creator 3-in-1 dragons, and she rotates a full 360 degrees on a single pin connection. There is also a living tree with glowing red eyes and hidden branch arms ready to grab an unsuspecting minifigure.
Inspired by Scooby-Doo! Camp Scare, the build began life as a much bigger Loch Ness concept before Tobnacs_Bricks trimmed it into a cozier, more affordable diorama. The modular layout lets you rearrange scenes, pose the gang mid-investigation, or expand it with other Scooby-Doo ideas. The minifigures shown are still stand-ins, since the printed elements could not be imported into Studio yet.
With Scooby-Doo! Campfire Mysteries now in review, the LEGO® jury will decide whether Mystery Inc. gets to solve one more case in brick form. So, gang, who is brave enough to check out what is lurking beyond the trees?
