Cowabunga, builders! Grab your pizza and clear a spot on the shelf, because TMNT Van 90s Series has rolled onto LEGO® Ideas, and it might just be the sewer-dwelling ride your inner ten-year-old has been waiting for. Designer Micka Mcbrick built a brick-by-brick tribute to the Party Wagon from the classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon that ruled Saturday mornings. Remember that show? Of course you do.

The van comes loaded with everything the animated series threw at it. Two side doors open to reveal a firing position on the right, rear doors swing wide, and the interior packs all the high-tech gear the four heroes need to fight the Foot Clan. Every panel and hatch earns its place, which is exactly the kind of thoughtful design work that makes a nostalgic build sing rather than just sit there looking pretty.

The set does not stop at the wheels, either. A street base rounds out the display, complete with a manhole cover (naturally, where else would the Turtles pop up?) and a front scene showing Splinter's first meeting with his four adopted sons. That little diorama is a lovely touch, and it turns a single vehicle into a full story you can pose on your desk.

You also get all four brothers in the box: Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael. Blue, orange, purple, red, and no arguing about who gets the last slice of pepperoni (okay, maybe a little arguing). If you grew up chanting "Heroes in a half-shell," this quartet will feel like meeting old friends.

Right now the project sits at 2,237 supporters, so it has some climbing to do before it reaches the 10,000 mark and heads to LEGO review. Fancy giving it a shove? Head to LEGO® Ideas, back Micka Mcbrick's creation, and help this Party Wagon peel out of the sewers. Turtle power, builders. Turtle power.
